CBI Summons Akhilesh Yadav in Illegal Mining Case

CBI has summoned Samajwadi Party President and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav in an illegal mining case. Sources said Mr. Yadav has been asked to appear before the agency today as a witness in the case.

The case is related to

illegal mining in Shamli, Fatehpur, Deoria, Saharanpur, Hamirpur, Siddharthnagar and other areas in UP between 2012 to 2016. Mr Yadav had held the mining department between 2012 and 2013.
