In Jharkhand, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday registered a case in the death case of Dhanbad Civil Judge Uttam Anand after Jharkhand High Court had directed the State Government to hand over the case to CBI.

Earlier in the day ADG cum Special Investigation Team (SIT) Chief Sanjay Latkar held a meeting with police officials in Dhanbad to hand over all investigation related documents to CBI on the



recommendation notice issued yesterday by the state government regarding the investigation of the Judge Uttam Anand murder case.

The bench of Chief Justice Ravi Ranjan and Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad in Jharkhand High Court had earlier accepted the recommendations of the State Government to transfer the investigation of the death case of Dhanbad Civil Judge to Central Bureau of Investigation.
