In West Bengal, campaigning will end today for the fourth phase polling to be held on Monday. In this phase, voting will be held in 49 Assembly seats spread across the North 24-Parganas and Howrah districts of the state.
Having addressed rallies in Bally and Howrah last night, TMC leader Mamata Banerjee is focusing her campaign today in Hooghly district. BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain addressed a number of rallies in Howrah.
CPI-M state secretary, Surjya Kanta Mishhra and Pradesh Congress chief, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury shared a campaign stage at Shree Bhumi in Lake Town at a Congress meeting last night.
Many leaders of various parties including senior BJP leader and Union minister Raj Nath Singh, his party colleague, Giriraj Singh, and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi are campaigning today. 
Over 1.07 crore voters will exercise their franchise during this phase of state assembly election. About 12,500 polling stations have been set up.
