BSP chief Mayawati demands CBI probe in brutal killing of Dalit at Singhu Border

Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has demanded a CBI probe into the brutal killing of a Dalit at the farmers' protest site at Singhu Border. In a tweet, BSP chief said that some serious issues are emerging in this case which warrants a CBI probe into the gruesome murder.

15 Dalit organizations have also demanded stern action against those responsible for the brutal



murder of Lakhbir Singh, a Dalit from Tarn Taran in Punjab.

Representatives of 15 Dalit organisations met Chairman of National Commission for Scheduled Castes Vijay Sampla and demanded stern action against the culprits. The mutilated body of Lakhbir Singh was found hanging on Friday at farmers' protest site at Singhu border.
