BSF seizes huge cache of arms, ammunition & fake currency in Jammu's Akhnoor sector

Jammu: In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, alert troops of Border Security Force (BSF) yesterday seized huge cache of arm ammunitions and fake currency along the international border in Akhnoor sector of Jammu division.

Acting on a specific input, a search operation was conducted near International Border in Akhnoor area and during search operations, a bag was found hidden in thick



Sarkanda grass containing, four pistols, eight magazines, 190 rounds of 7.63 x 25 MM Pistol and one packet containing narcotics weighing one kg with fake currency notes worth Rs. 2,75,000/.

A BSF spokesman said that this consignment was likely to be delivered to  anti national elements of the area, but BSF foiled their attempt by seizing it.
