Bodies of two youths drowned at Kakinada beach recovered

The bodies of two persons who drowned in the sea at Suryaraopet beach in Andhra Pradesh’s Kakinada were recovered on Monday.

Search teams retrieved the bodies of the two youths, who drowned on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as Padala Yuva Kishore (20) and Anusuri Veerababu (21).

A group of four youths, all residents of Kakinada, had gone to the beach on Sunday, and while bathing, they



started drowning.

The beachgoers rescued two youths — A. Sri Ganesh Chanti, 21, and 19-year-old K.A.V. Sandeep Kumar. However, two others went missing, and a search operation was launched to trace them.

The rescue teams resumed the search on Monday morning and traced the bodies.

Police shifted the bodies to Government General Hospital, Kakinada, for post-mortem examination.
