Bank of Baroda has announced a major recruitment drive to fill 2,482 Local Bank Officer positions across 20 States and Union Territories.
Aimed at strengthening regional service delivery, the recruitment initiative will see selected candidates deployed in the respective States or Union Territories for the first 12 years of their service or until their promotion to the SMGS-IV grade.
The localised
staffing strategy is aimed at ensuring strong cultural alignment and fluency in local languages, enabling the public sector bank to deepen its community relationships and support grassroots economic activity, according to a statement issued by the bank.
The recruitment drive is for 2,482 Local Bank Officer posts in the JMG/S-I grade. Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on August 1, 2026, with applicable age relaxations.
