Karnataka BJP's 'Ballari Chalo' padayatra to protest against alleged corruption and failures of the Congress government in the state entered its second day on Wednesday.
The day two of the foot march began at Santekellur in Maski, and is expected to cover a distance of about 22 km. Led by BJP state president B Y Vijayendra, several party leaders, MLAs,
MLCs, state office bearers, district presidents and party workers took part in the march.
The 10-day-long march that began at Lingasugur on Tuesday is scheduled to conclude in Ballari. The BJP is protesting against alleged corruption, diversion of funds meant for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, inadequate drought relief and neglect of North Karnataka.
