BJP MLA Target of An Egg Hurled At Him In Bengaluru

Bharatiya Janata Party MLA B.P. Harish took a hit on his head from an egg hurled at him by unknown person, reportedly a Congress worker, gathered outside the office of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), Queen’s Road in Bengaluru city on Wednesday while the BJP MLA alleged he was assaulted by four persons as well when he was walking towards the office of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) on Wednesday to stage a protest.

Harish told reporters he belongs to Harihara Assembly seat in Davangere and was



unaware of the location of KPCC office in Bengaluru. 

He said he alighted from his car after his car driver located the address of the KPCC office and alighted from the car to walk for a distance along when reportedly Congress workers countered him and shouted slogans before an egg at him and it smashed against his head. 

The MLA said he was rescued from the crowd by policemen on duty which otherwise would have been before police rescued and alleged “It shows Congress party’s culture.”
