Bihar's Samastipur DM transferred on EC's instructions

Bihar's Samastipur District Magistrate, Chandrasekhar Singh, has been transferred following instructions from the Election Commission.

Sources said, Mr Singh has been transferred due to

dereliction of duties during ongoing election preparedness in the district.

Divesh Sehra has replaced Mr Singh as the new DM.
