Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will undertake the aerial survey of the flood affected areas in the state today. The Chief Minister will survey the worst affected Katihar, Kishanganj, Purnia and Araria. He will take stock of relief and rescue operations in

affected areas. Over 17 lakh people are under the impact of current flood.
In view of sharp increase of water in Baghmati, Gandak and Adhwara group of rivers an alert has been issued in Muzaffarpur, Vaishali and Sheohar districts of the state.
