A technical team from the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is working to restore normal operations after most services on the Green Line experienced delays on Thursday morning. In a statement, BMRCL said the issue was being addressed "on priority."
However, commuters expressed frustration over the disruption,
with many claiming that Metro services stopped without any announcement from BMRCL.
One user, SD Jordan, posted: "Another failure in metro operation. Daily commuters are affected badly." Responding to the concerns, BMRCL said, "We regret the inconvenience caused and request commuters to kindly plan their journey accordingly."
