In Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have re-imposed restrictions on assembly of people yesterday in parts of Srinagar and also at sensitive places across Kashmir as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order.

The checkpoints have been set up at all entry and exit points leading to main business hub Lal Chowk, government installations etc to regulate the movement. Similar preventive measure have been



taken in areas under old city police station and in the city outskirts.

Restrictions to allow control movement have been put in place to keep rumour mongers at Bay. Officials said that overall situation in Kashmir remain calm and under control. Landline services was restored in the entire valley yesterday while primary, middle and high schools are open.
