Assam Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal has said that his government is committed to make the state free from foreigners, insurgency and corruption. Mr.Sonowal assured that the government has accorded top priority in sealing the Indo-Bangladesh border to stop illegal influx once and for all. Participating in a plantation drive at Kamrup district, he also underscored the need for peace, harmony and brotherhood to thwart the evil design of



anti-national forces. 
The Chief Minister also stressed on promoting skill development to ease the unemployment problem to a great extent. He urged the people to plant at least three saplings to usher in a green revolution in Assam. Initiated the plantation drive, he said government is committed to bring about a paradigm shift in development by ushering in a green revolution through massive afforestation exercise.
