Assam govt advises people of state not to travel to Mizoram

Guwahati: The Assam government has advised the people of the state not to travel to Mizoram. In an order issued by Home Commissioner- Secretary M S Manivannan said that there have been several violent skirmishes in the border area of Assam and

Mizoram.

He said that recently 6 cops lost their lives while protecting the boundary of Assam. The order also told those people of Assam who are staying in Mizoram due to work related compulsion to exercise utmost caution.
