The AP Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) organised a hands-on training programme on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for its officials and staff at the Rayapudi Project Office in Amaravati on Thursday, focusing on immediate response to emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest.
The programme was organised by the APCRDA Social Development Department in collaboration with medical experts from AIIMS Mangalagiri. It
covered basic CPR techniques and immediate assistance before professional medical help arrives.
The training was conducted by Dr Rajeev A., professor and head of Community and Family Medicine; Dr Pratyusha T., associate professor of General Medicine; and Dr Anjani Priya V., assistant professor of Emergency Medicine, along with senior and junior residents of Community and Family Medicine. AHA project manager M.D. Shahzad also participated.
