AP High Court Gets Four Permanent Judges

The Supreme Court collegium, led by Chief Justice BR Gavai, approved the appointment of four additional judges—Justices Harinath Nunepally, Kiranmayee Mandava, Sumathi Jagadam, and Nyapathy Vijay—as permanent judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. The collegium also recommended appointments for other high courts. Vimal Kumar Yadav was approved as a judge of the Delhi High Court, while advocates Ajit Bhagwanrao Kadethankar, Aarti Arun Sathe, and Sushil Manohar Ghodeswar were recommended for the Bombay High Court.

further approved Justice Gurusiddaiah Basavaraja as a permanent judge of the Karnataka High Court and extended the tenure of six additional judges of the Calcutta High Court for one year. Additionally, Justices Partha Sarathi Sen and Apurba Sinha Ray were approved as permanent judges of the Calcutta High Court, and Justice Ravindra Kumar Agrawal as a permanent judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court. The resolutions were finalized in a meeting on Monday and uploaded to the apex court’s website late that night.
