AP High Court Adjourns PIL To Transfer Gade Sai Krishna Case To CBI

A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking transfer of the case related to Gade Sai Krishna's disappearance from Krishna Lanka Police Station to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was filed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Wednesday. 

During the hearing, the Advocate General told the court that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising senior police officers was constituted to probe the case. 

He assured



the bench that all measures are being taken to ensure a fair and impartial investigation.

The AG also informed the court that Circle Inspector SSSV Nagaraju, the main accused in the case, was arrested and a detailed probe by the SIT officials is underway. 

Responding to the submissions, the High Court bench remarked, “Let’s wait and see what you do,” and posted the matter for further hearing on July 6.
