Andhra Couple Injured After Live Power Wires Fall on Them in Forest Area

A couple who had gone to a forest area to spend some private time were injured after live electrical wires reportedly snapped and fell on them in Sri Sathya Sai district on Thursday. 

The incident took place in Bathulapalle Thanda of Kadiri mandal. According to reports, the woman



cried out for help after suffering injuries. Hearing her cries, shepherds in the vicinity rushed to the spot and alerted the police. 

Police reached the location and shifted the injured couple to a government hospital in Anantapur for treatment. Further details are awaited.
