As part of a nationwide campaign, the Tiranga Rally was conducted in Vijayawada yesterday to commemorate the success of Operation Sindoor and pay tribute to the bravery of India’s armed forces.

In Vijayawada, the rally witnessed the participation of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, BJP State President and MP Daggubati Purandeswari along with thousands of people carrying National Flag. The procession moved through key locations in the city, with participants carrying an extended national flag and chanting patriotic slogans.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Naidu saluted the courage and commitment of the defence personnel involved in Operation Sindoor. He expressed confidence that India is on an unstoppable path towards Viksit



Bharat by 2047, and called on the youth to actively contribute to building a progressive and empowered India.

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, in his remarks, reflected on the country’s long-standing challenges since the partition in 1947 and reiterated his strong support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in countering terrorism. He emphasized the need for collective resolve to protect the nation’s sovereignty.

The Tiranga Yatra stands as a symbolic reminder of the sacrifices made by the armed forces and underscores the importance of preserving national integrity. The BJP has clarified that the event goes beyond politics as it is intended to instil a sense of duty, unity, and respect for those who serve and protect the nation
