Union Home Minister Amit Shah will begin a crucial three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir from today to conduct a comprehensive security review, assess developmental projects and engage with political stakeholders.
He will reach Jammu at 5 this evening and will meet political leaders at Lok Bhawan. The visit is expected to include high-level meetings with security agencies and administrative officials to evaluate the overall law and order situation and the progress of ongoing governance and
infrastructure initiatives.
The Home Minister will review the security situation, meet political leaders and launch various development projects.
He will visit the International Border at Hiranagar in Kathua district tomorrow morning and inspect the new gadgetry installed by the Border Security Force for plugging infiltration from across the border.
In the afternoon, he will hold a high-level review of the security situation at the Lok Bhawan in Jammu.
