Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Mumbai last evening on a two-day visit to attend Ganeshotsav festivities in the city. 

Mr. Shah will visit the Lalbaugcha Raja, one of the famous Ganesh mandals in Mumbai, today. He will also visit some other Ganesh Mandals in the Bandra and Andheri area of



Mumbai.
 
During the visit, Mr. Shah is expected to meet Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to discuss the current political situation, the ongoing Maratha protests, and the BJP’s preparations for the upcoming Maharashtra local body elections. 

He may also meet Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar.
