Allahabad HC Stays Gayatri Prajapati's Bail in Rape Case

The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has stayed Samajwadi Party leader Gayatri Prajapati's bail in a rape case.

On Tuesday, Prajapati and two of his alleged accomplices were granted bail by a special judge of POCSO court, Om Prakash Mishra, in



connection with the case that had rocked Uttar Pradesh some months back.

However, his reprieve proved to be short-lived as a local court on Wednesday remanded him in judicial custody in two separate cases even before he could walk out of jail.
