Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said that all the states have been covered with the Vande Bharat train service in a short span of three years. In reply to a question in the Lok Sabha yesterday, Mr Vaishnaw informed that currently 144 Vande Bharat are operational across the country. He said, the operational feedback of this train is very encouraging due to which more demands for such trains are generating
from the states.
Mr Vaishnaw said that the government is committed to the welfare of the middle class and low income group. He said, the number of general class coaches have increased in the last few years. The Minister informed that 70 per cent of the total 82 thousand coaches in trains are general and non AC coaches.
