All 24 Indian crew members aboard seized Iranian ship released

All the 24 Indian crew members aboard an Iranian oil tanker were released by Gibraltar authorities and allowed to return to India. The Iranian tanker is being held on suspicion of smuggling oil to Syria in breach of European Union

sanctions.

Minister of State for External Affairs, V Muraleedharan said in a tweet last evening that he spoke to Indian High Commission in London and they confirmed that the Indian crew aboard VLCC Grace 1 had been released.
