An Air India flight scheduled from Bengaluru to Vijayawada was delayed, leaving passengers stranded on Monday morning. Tension prevailed at the Kempegowda International Airport as the flight was delayed beyond its scheduled time.
The flight, which was supposed to depart at 7 am, did not arrive on the runway even as time passed, leaving passengers waiting for boarding in confusion and inconvenience.
Passengers who tried to seek information about the flight not departing on
time did not get any clear response from the airline staff. Passengers expressed dissatisfaction over the staff's answers regarding when the flight would depart and the actual reasons for the delay.
They expressed anger over the lack of alternative arrangements and even basic information. According to reports, Andhra Pradesh Transport, Sports & Youth Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy was among the passengers, along with several other prominent persons and officials, stranded due to the delay.
