AIMIM leads in 5 seats in Solapur Municipal Corporation

Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM leads in 5 seats in Solapur Municipal Corporation.

In BMC, Shiv Sena has taken a significant lead in Mumbai, with its candidates ahead in 98 wards as against BJP's 52, Congress' 22, NCP 4 and MNS 10. Others have won 7 seats.

In Pune Municipal Corporation, BJP is leading on 15 wards, BSP on 2, NCP on 9 and MNS on 2. Congress and Shiv Sena have the lead on 3 and 2 ward, respectively.Sena is leading on 10 wards, while NCP



and MNS have lead on 1 ward, each, in the 132 wards of Thane Municipal Corporation.

BJP is leading on 23 wards, among the 151 in Nagpur. Congress has lead on 9 wards and BSP on 1 ward.

Counting of votes for the BMC polls, which took place on Tuesday, began at 10 am. Counting for 9 other municipal corporation polls – including those in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad – as well as in Zilla Parishads also began at 10 am.
