AIADMK releases Jayalalithaa's AI-generated voice on her 76th birth anniversary

The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) today (February 24) released an Artificial intelligence (AI)-generated voice clip of late party supremo and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on the occasion of her 76th birth anniversary.

The AI-generated voice of Jayalalithaa, produced seven years after her death, was played at the party headquarters after senior leaders, including AIADMK general



secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami, popularly known as EPS, paid their tributes to her.

Through the AI clip, Jayalalithaa's voice addressed the party members and said, “Hello. I’m your J Jayalalithaa speaking. I express my gratitude to this technology, which gave me a chance to speak to you. Our party has seen many ups and downs. We have implemented many welfare schemes for women, students, etc when we were in power.
