Maharashtra’s political circles were abuzz on Wednesday that Aaditya Thackeray would be anointed as the working president of Shiv Sena (UBT).
However, the Worli MLA dismissed reports of him taking over the reins of the party, calling them baseless.
According to reports, Aaditya, who is currently the Yuva Sena chief, could be elevated as the party's working president on 19 June, which is the
foundation day of the party.
However, Aaditya, in a post on X, denied such reports, saying, “no truth.” He claimed “no such discussion” among the party leaders. “Since morning, there has been news on some TV channels that I am going to be given some position in the party.
There is no truth to this news and there is no such discussion in the party," said the 35-year-old leader.
