The whereabouts of six fishermen who went missing after leaving from Visakhapatnam fishing port are still unknown causing more worry for their families. 

They reached the fishing port and squatted at the office of the Boat Operators Association. Several leaders and officials met the affected families and explained the steps being taken to bring the missing people to safety.

to officials, the boat capsized due to high waves on June 4, ten nautical miles from Visakhapatnam. Its driver and owner, Kari Chinna, was rescued by the crew of the merchant ship. 

The remaining six are missing in the sea waters. Despite the current adverse weather conditions in the sea, the search operations of the fishermen have been intensified. The Coast Guard patrol boat began the rescue operation.
