Nearly 500 artistes from various states performed in Tirumala during 'Simha Vahana Seva' (ritual) on Thursday, adding spiritual vibrancy to the Brahmotsavams.
Devotees were spellbound by the captivating performances presented by artistes from across the country, an official release from TTD said. "A total of 19 troupes with 494 artistes participated in these TTD-organised cultural programmes, adding spiritual vibrancy to the Brahmotsavams," it
said.
Cultural troupes from eight states across the country, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra entertained devotees with traditional art performances during Simha Vahana Seva.
Artistes presented classical and folk dance forms, encompassing Dasavatharams, Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, Chhau, Kolatam, Navadurgas, drum ensembles and Sri Rama Charitam. On Wednesday evening, 504 artistes belonging to 19 teams from eight states performed various dance forms.
