45-year-old woman Killed in Lightning Strike in Raichur

The incident occurred within the limits of Paidoddi Gram Panchayat around 8.30 pm. Police told Media that the deceased has been identified as Durgamma Sabanna Golapalli, a resident



of Basavanabagadi Doddi in Lingasugur taluk. As it started raining, Durgamma stepped out of her house to cover a haystack with tarpaulin. 

During this time, lightning struck her, killing her on the spot due to the impact. The incident has been reported under the jurisdiction of the Hatti police station.
