4.0-magnitude earthquake hits Sikkim

In Sikkim, tremors were felt in the capital Gangtok yesterday evening. 

According to the India Meteorological Department, the magnitude of the earthquake was 4.0 and



the epicentre was in the East District of Sikkim. 

The earthquake was recorded at 20:39:22 Indian Standard Time at a depth of 10 kilometers.
