New Delhi: Four men, working for Chacha’s Takeaway restaurant in Gurugram DLF Phase 1, were killed on Wednesday night when an over speeding Skoda car crushed them on city’s Golf Course Road. All four were critically injured in the accident and died during treatment.

The car driver has been identified as Harsh and is a resident of Gurugram Sector 43. He was drunk and was driving from Delhi. The police have booked the driver under Section 304 (culpable homicide) and 308 (amounting to culpable homicide) of the Indian Penal



Code.

The accident took place near gate number 11 of Arjun Marg on the service lane.

The car driver was taken into custody by Gurgaon’s DLF Phase 1 police. The car has also been seized.

The deceased have been identified as Govind Gurni (24), Rajneesh (25), Gopal Singh (32) and Jitendra (35). The four victims were returning to their respective houses after completing their work at the restaurant on two motorcycles. 

Police have launched an investigation into the tragic accident.
