3 New Additional Judges Take Oath in Andhra Pradesh HC

Three new additional judges took oath of office in Andhra Pradesh High Court on Monday. Chief Justice Lisa Gill administered the oath of office to the new additional judges, an official press release said. 

"Sunitha Gandham, Alapati Giridhar and Purushottam Kumar Chintalapudi on Monday took oath as additional judges in Andhra Pradesh higher



judiciary (High Court)," it said. Following President Droupadi Murmu approving their appointment as High Court additional judges, the Union Government (Law Department) officially issued a notification.

With the appointment of three new additional judges, the strength of Andhra Pradesh High Court judges rose from 29 to 32, the press release added.
