Three CRPF jawans killed and 15 injured after Army vhicle carrying them fell into a nallah in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur.

Jitendra Singh, Union Minister said the accident took place in the Kandva–Basantgarh, and that rescue operations are underway. “I have just now spoken to DC Saloni Rai, who is regularly monitoring tsituation and keeping me updated,” he said in a X, adding that locals have stepped forward to assist.

J&K Lt Governor Manoj Sinha expressed condolences over the accident, saying officials have been directed to ensure best-possible assistance. “Saddened by loss of CRPF personnel due to an accident near Udhampur. We will never forget their exemplary service to the nation. My thoughts are with bereaved families. Praying for speedy recovery of injured,” he said in a X post.
