Fourteen people were rescued from the debris of a three-storeyed building collapse at Crawford market area in south Mumbai, last night. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Disaster Management control room informed that a major part of the building ‘Yousuf’, a 70-year old cessed



building, came down at 9.15 p.m.

Initially, it was said that only 4 to 5 people were trapped in the debris but later 14 people were rescued. The BMC has said that the rescue operations were still in progress. More details are awaited.
