12 security personnel injured in a landmine blast at Kunta bordering Telangana

In Chhattisgarh, two Border Security Force, BSF, constables were killed and 4 others injured in an encounter with Maoists in Kanker district. The incident took place when a joint team of BSF and District Police was on a

search operation in Pakhanjoor area of Kanker district. Maoists ambushed the team near Bechghat in Chote Betia area. Security forces retaliated and in the ensuing gun battle, 6 BSF jawans sustained bullet injuries.
