12 killed in cyclonic storm in Bihar

In Bihar, at least 12 persons were killed and several others injured in cyclonic storm that hit North Eastern and Kosi region of the state last night. Quoting sources



reports casualties have been reported from Purnea, Katihar, Kishanganj, Araria, Bhagalpur, Madhepura, Supaul, Saharsa, Madhubani, Munger and Lakhisarai districts. Several thatched houses were damaged and trees uprooted due to high speed of wind. Besides this, power lines and standing crops have been damaged in many districts.
