Heavy to very heavy rain may occur in these states, IMD issued alert

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast 'heavy' to 'very heavy' rain at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and others. has estimated.

Apart from this, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa and interior parts of Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe will also receive heavy rains with the advance of Southwest Monsoon across the country, the Meteorological Department said in a statement on Sunday.

Apart from this, IMD has predicted thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds (speed up to 30-40 kmph) over Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi.

Apart from this, the IMD has warned that strong winds (speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph) will occur over southwest, west-central and adjoining east-central Arabian Sea. The Meteorological Department said that strong winds (speed 50-60 kmph) and rain over North Bay of Bengal (speed 50-60 kmph) along and off Kerala-Karnataka-Goa-South Maharashtra-Gujarat coasts and Lakshadweep regions.
