Amritsar: The Border Security Force (BSF) have seized two kilogrammes of heroin in the area of responsibility of border outpost (BOP) Chhanmulla in Amritsar sector, an official said on Tuesday.
BSF official D S Rana said that two packets of heroin were seized.
The contraband was smuggled to India from the Pakistan



side, he said.
Based on the specific information a special search operation was carried out by BSF troops in the area of responsibility of BOP Chhanmulla during which two packets containing two-kilogram heroin was recovered, he said.
They were wrapped in yellow plastic tape and buried in soil, said Rana.
