In a globally groundbreaking achievement, King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSHRC) in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh has successfully performed the world’s first fully robotic heart transplant.

end-stage heart failure on Thursday, September 12.A two and a half-hour operation was performed by an exceptional medical team led by the head of cardiac surgery and director of the robotics and minimally invasive surgery program at KFSHRC, Dr Feras Khaliel, after weeks of preparation, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
