US Strikes Kill Seven Iranian Troops, Civilian Death Toll Rises to 30

Seven Iranian military personnel were killed in a US missile strike on a military barracks near the southeastern city of Iranshahr on Wednesday, the Iranian army said, as military confrontation between Washington and Tehran continued to intensify. 

In a statement, the army said the attack targeted a barracks near Iranshahr in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan province, killing seven service members.

The latest strike came



amid an escalation in hostilities between the United States and Iran, with both sides carrying out repeated attacks in recent days. 

Separately, an Iranian government spokesperson said that more than 30 people have been killed in US airstrikes carried out across the country in recent days. 

The spokesperson did not provide a detailed breakdown of the casualties or specify how many were civilians or military personnel.
