US Prez Trump approves deployment of US forces to Saudi Arabia, UAE

US President Donald Trump has approved the deployment of US forces to Saudi Arabia and UAE in the wake of attacks on the Saudi oil infrastructure. US Defense Secretary Mark Esper told Pentagon reporters last evening that the deployment would be defensive in nature with focus on air and



missile defence.

Esper said this is a first step to beef up security and he would not rule out additional moves down the road. He noted that the US doesn't seek war with Iran, but has other options as well.
