United States lawmakers move resolution to end 50 pc tariffs on India

A group of influential Democratic lawmakers have introduced a resolution in the US House of Representatives to terminate the 50 per cent tariff on imports from India, which they describe as illegal and economically damaging.

Raja Krishnamoorthi, along with Congresswoman Deborah Ross and Congressman Marc Veasey, the resolution moves to terminate President Donald Trump’s national emergency authorising tariffs of up to 50 per cent on imports from India, which they describe as illegal and economically damaging.
