UK Home Ministry has approved the extradition of fugitive Nirav Modi. CBI officials confirmed it. In February this year, a UK court had ordered extradition of Nirav Modi, who is wanted in India in a Bank scam case.

The court had said that Nirav Modi had conspired to

destroy evidence and has a case to answer for in India. It had accepted the contention of India to extradite Nirav Modi saying the evidence against him is prima facie sufficient to order his extradition to face the charges.
