Trump rejects latest Iran response to US war proposal as totally unacceptable

The diplomatic channel between the United States and Iran may still be open, but Donald Trump sees little value in Tehran?s latest response to Washington?s proposal to end the war. Hours after Iran had sent its reply through Pakistan, Trump declared the response totally unacceptable.

so-called ?Representatives.? I don?t like it ? TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

With that, any possible opening in the US-Iran standoff appeared to narrow further. Hours ago, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif confirmed that Tehran had conveyed its response to Donald Trump?s latest peace proposal through Islamabad.
