South Korea extends Muan International Airport closure till Jan 19

South Korea has extended the closure of Muan International Airport till Sunday. The airport was closed following the crash of a Jeju Air passenger jet last month. The Transport Ministry said the extended shutdown is essential for the ongoing



investigation into the cause of the crash.

The airport is the site of the investigation into the December 29 crash of the Jeju Air Boeing 737-800, which killed 179 people on board.
