Riyadh: By sending first female team to an International Tennis Federation (ITF) competition, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) achieved yet another historical milestone.

This week in Colombo, Sri Lanka, a Saudi quartet competes in the Asia/Oceania preliminary qualifying event for the Billie Jean Kings Juniors Cup.

She goes on to say, "This is an amazing experience that is so empowering." "Taking part in this event is a big step for women's tennis in Saudi Arabia, and we are all very proud to represent our country

and do our best."

She continued, "It's just beyond exciting to watch doors open for our young Saudi female athletes."

Although Saudi Arabian women have gained more freedoms as a result of recent reforms, many of their rights are still restricted.

Within the framework of Vision 2030, which was launched by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and aims to diversify the economy and change the world's perception of the Kingdom as one of militancy, Saudi Arabia continues to give Saudi women more freedom.
