Osama bin Laden's son is dead: US official

The son of al-Qaeda founder Osama Bin Laden, Hamza, has died, according to US intelligence officials. 

America's NBC News said three US officials had confirmed they had information of Hamza Bin Laden's death but gave no details. 

The official said the US had a role in his death but did not provide details. 

The New York Times also



reported that Hamza had been killed in an operation within the last two years.

In February, the US government offered 1 million dollar for information leading to his whereabouts.

President Donald Trump declined to comment yesterday when asked about the reports. The Department of Defense also declined to comment.
